The summer program groups the children by age. We have four separate classes that are the 2's, 3's, 4-5's, and the 6-10's. Each group has a new theme each week. We plan activities for the day based on these themes. These will include art, cooking, reading stories, singing songs, and playing games each day for a full day of fun! As part of the registration fee paid for summer, we will take several field trips. We love to take trips to the farm, park, movies, bowling, etc. When we can not get out ,we invite others into see us! You can expect to see a magic show, a wildlife show, and maybe even a few musical productions. We also have JumpBunch come to the center one time per week for 30 minute sports and fitness activities with each age group. They provide wonderful activities that are outlined in their weekly lesson plans. At the end of each camp session, we always have one very special event planned for the campers. In the past we have had a "carnival day" where the children enjoy bounce and slides, velcro walls, ball pits, games, and more. We have also planned an "Outdoor Movie Night" where we invite the families to come enjoy a movie and popcorn under the stars on a giant inflatable screen! The last day of camp is reserved for our annual "Family Picnic." This event takes place from 11-1 and we serve hot dogs, hamburgers, a variety of salads and desserts, and the biggest attraction is the snowball truck that serves snowballs of every flavor! Peter Pan Summer Camp is great for families that are looking for a program that has teachers that are trained in Early Childhood Education and that offers a consistent environment that is safe, nurturing, and full of FUN for all of their children ages 2-10!
